Oh! When I see myself,
I ponder upon how I look,
With all His complete love,
With all His complete satisfaction,
With all His complete joy,
With all His complete care,
He made me, And
Leaving out all the creation,
Looked onto me as His completeness,
And blew into me His own life,
A life desired to Honor Him,
A life desired to Extol Him,
A life desired to Worship Him,
A life desired to Obey Him,
Not as He wanted the way to be,
But given me the Independence to be,
A spiritual Man.
But I made Him grieve,
When I sold myself to the adversary,
With the vices of sin,
Bounded myself as a slave to sin,
With no joy, happiness, freedom,
Kept locked in his vices forever,
God looked unto me with grace,
Thinking of His joyous pain in making me,
Keeping aside His Sovereignty,
Stepping down into my image,
Kept Himself away from vices of world,
To be my Atonement and Salvation,
Gave up Himself being God in Man,
Breaking up my chains of slavery,
Into a Child of His Name,
Giving back what all I lost,
Made me look much more handsome,
Cleansing me as white as snow,
With His Life and Blood,
A Pure Sinless and Spotless Sacrifice,
Into much more beautiful than I was,
A Sinless and Spotless as He is,
A Righteous in His Righteousness,
When I see myself.
