Earth is known as the Blue Planet because of its oceans, which cover more than 70 percent of the planet's surface and are home to the world's greatest diversity of life. While water is essential for life on the planet, the answers to two key questions have eluded us: where did Earth's water come from and when?

While some hypothesize that water came late to Earth, well after the planet had formed, findings from a new study led by scientists at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) significantly move back the clock for the first evidence of water on Earth and in the inner solar system.

"The answer to one of the basic questions is that our oceans were always here. We didn't get them from a late process, as was previously thought," said Adam Sarafian, the lead author of the paper published Oct. 31, 2014, in the journal Science and a MIT/WHOI Joint Program student in the Geology and Geophysics Department.

One school of thought was that planets originally formed dry, due to the high-energy, high-impact process of planet formation, and that the water came later from sources such as comets or "wet" asteroids, which are largely composed of ices and gases.

"With giant asteroids and meteors colliding, there's a lot of destruction," said Horst Marschall, a geologist at WHOI and coauthor of the paper. "Some people have argued that any water molecules that were present as the planets were forming would have evaporated or been blown off into space, and that surface water as it exists on our planet today, must have come much, much later -- hundreds of millions of years later."

The study's authors turned to another potential source of Earth's water -- carbonaceous chondrites. The most primitive known meteorites, carbonaceous chondrites, were formed in the same swirl of dust, grit, ice and gasses that gave rise to the sun some 4.6 billion years ago, well before the planets were formed.

"These primitive meteorites resemble the bulk solar system composition," said WHOI geologist and coauthor Sune Nielsen. "They have quite a lot of water in them, and have been thought of before as candidates for the origin of Earth's water."

In order to determine the source of water in planetary bodies, scientists measure the ratio between the two stable isotopes of hydrogen: deuterium and hydrogen. Different regions of the solar system are characterized by highly variable ratios of these isotopes. The study's authors knew the ratio for carbonaceous chondrites and reasoned that if they could compare that to an object that was known to crystallize while Earth was actively accreting then they could gauge when water appeared on Earth.

To test this hypothesis, the research team, which also includes Francis McCubbin from the Institute of Meteoritics at the University of New Mexico and Brian Monteleone of WHOI, utilized meteorite samples provided by NASA from the asteroid 4-Vesta. The asteroid 4-Vesta, which formed in the same region of the solar system as Earth, has a surface of basaltic rock -- frozen lava. These basaltic meteorites from 4-Vesta are known as eucrites and carry a unique signature of one of the oldest hydrogen reservoirs in the solar system. Their age -- approximately 14 million years after the solar system formed -- makes them ideal for determining the source of water in the inner solar system at a time when Earth was in its main building phase. The researchers analyzed five different samples at the Northeast National Ion Microprobe Facility -- a state-of-the-art national facility housed at WHOI that utilizes secondary ion mass spectrometers. This is the first time hydrogen isotopes have been measured in eucrite meteorites.

The measurements show that 4-Vesta contains the same hydrogen isotopic composition as carbonaceous chondrites, which is also that of Earth. That, combined with nitrogen isotope data, points to carbonaceous chondrites as the most likely common source of water.

"The study shows that Earth's water most likely accreted at the same time as the rock. The planet formed as a wet planet with water on the surface," Marschall said.

While the findings don't preclude a late addition of water on Earth, it shows that it wasn't necessary since the right amount and composition of water was present at a very early stage.

"An implication of that is that life on our planet could have started to begin very early," added Nielsen. "Knowing that water came early to the inner solar system also means that the other inner planets could have been wet early and evolved life before they became the harsh environments they are today."

☆ What is Carbonaceous Chondrites ?

Carbonaceous chondrites or C chondrites represent some of the most pristine matter known, and their chemical compositions match the chemistry of the Sun more closely than any other class of chondrites. Carbonaceous chondrites are primitive and undifferentiated meteorites that formed in oxygen-rich regions of the early solar system so that most of the metal is not found in its free form but as silicates, oxides, or sulfides. Most of them contain water or minerals that have been altered in the presence of water, and some of them contain larger amounts of carbon as well as organic compounds. This is especially true for the carbonaceous chondrites that have been relatively unaltered by heating during their history. The most primitive carbonaceous chondrites have never been heated above 50°C!

However, there are different clans and groups of carbonaceous chondrites that formed on different parent bodies in different regions of the early solar nebula. The most important groups are designated as CI, CM, CV, CO, CR, CK, and CH chondrites. In the following, we'd like to introduce these groups as well as a new group, the CB chondrites, also known as bencubbinites.

CI Group

Chondrites of the CI group are named for their type specimen Ivuna, which fell in Tanzania in 1938, and there are only a handful of those rare meteorites known. The CI chondrites represent some of the most primitive, friable, and "ugly" meteorites - and yet they are some of the most interesting ones.

They all belong to the petrologic type 1, which means that they suffered a large degree of aqueous alteration. Hence they don't contain any relict chondrules but instead, a large amount of water, up to 20%, in addition to lots of minerals that have been altered in the presence of water such as hydrous phyllosilicates similar to terrestrial clays, oxidized iron in the form of magnetite, and sparsely distributed crystals of olivine scattered throughout the black matrix. In addition, they contain certain amounts of organic matter like PAHs and amino acids, which are the building blocks of life on earth. Because of that peculiar mixture of water and complex organic compounds the chondrites of the CI group are suspected to contain fascinating clues to the origin of life on our planet and maybe elsewhere in the universe too!

Some researchers suggest the origin of the CI chondrites is from comets that are known to be "dirty snowballs" - a mixture of frozen water and pristine matter. Even if that isn't true, the origin of the CI chondrites is certainly in the outer reaches of our solar system since they never have been heated above 50°C during their formation and their subsequent history. Otherwise, the water would have evaporated quite rapidly and the hydrous phyllosilicates would have been metamorphosed into other minerals due to the loss of water.

CM Group

This group is named for its type specimen, the meteorite of Mighei, which fell in Ukraine in 1889, and it has many more members than the previous group. About 80 chondrites of the CM group are known, and they mostly belong to petrologic type 2, although certain lithologies in some of its members are known to belong to type 1 (e.g. in Cold Bokkeveld). With about 10% water, they contain less than the CI chondrites and show less aqueous alteration so that some chondrules have been well preserved. Those chondrules consist of olivine and are scattered throughout the black matrix. In that mixture of phyllosilicate and magnetite, similar to the matrix of the CI chondrites, one also finds light-coloured inclusions. These high-temperature silicates are lacking in the CI group.

As with the CI chondrites, the CM chondrites are well known to contain a wealth of complex organic compounds. The well-studied meteorite of Murchison, a CM2 that fell in Australia in 1969, was found to contain more than 230 different amino acids, whereas on earth only 20 different amino acids are known and used as fundamental building blocks of life. Some of these extraterrestrial amino acids were found to exhibit strange isotopic signatures that might indicate that they don't have their origin within our solar system. These amino acids are believed to represent actual interstellar matter from other systems and nebulae that were trapped in this meteorite more than 4.5 billion years ago.

Because of this fact, some researchers have promoted the idea that Murchison and other CM chondrites, e.g. the witnessed falls of Murray, and Nogoya, might be of cometary origin, but recent research indicates that certain dark asteroids within the main asteroid belt are the real source of the CM meteorites. There is for example a certain spectral match between the reflectance spectra of the CM chondrites and the largest asteroid of our solar system, 1 Ceres - an irregular dark chunk of matter in the size of Texas. However, recent research has found an even closer match, at least for Murchison - the asteroid 19 Fortuna which is a good candidate to be the lost parent body of this peculiar meteorite and maybe of the other CM chondrites, too.

CV Group

The chondrites of this group are named for their type specimen, the meteorite of Vigarano, which fell in Italy in 1910. The CV group has about 50 members, but the number of actual CV falls has to be estimated to be somewhat lower since many of them are paired finds from the hot deserts of Africa and the blue-ice fields of Antarctica.

Most CV chondrites belong to petrologic type 3, and only one has been found to belong to type 2 as well as one other that has been classified as type 4. The structure and composition of these carbonaceous chondrites is more close to that of ordinary chondrites. In a dark-grey matrix of mainly iron-rich olivine, the meteorites of the CV group exhibit large, well-defined chondrules that are made of magnesium-rich olivine, often surrounded by iron sulfide. The meteorites of this group also contain white, irregular inclusions of different size that often make up more than 5% of the meteorite. These inclusions are high-temperature minerals called CAIs (calcium-aluminium inclusions) and are composed of silicates and oxides of calcium, aluminium, and titanium.

These large CAIs, characteristic of CV chondrites, have been intensely studied in the famous meteorite of Allende. Allende fell in Mexico in 1969, shortly before Neil Armstrong took his first step on the Moon. The CAIs of Allende contain fine-grained, microscopic diamonds - and those diamonds exhibit strange isotopic signatures that point to an origin outside of our solar system. They are interstellar grains that have proven to be older than the earth and the sun, and probably they are the product of a nearby supernova, of a dying star that made his last breath when our own system formed. Traces of this supernova have been trapped within the CAIs and preserved in the CV group and other carbonaceous chondrites to this day.

The chondrites of the CV group are further divided into three subgroups. The type specimen Vigarano and some other meteorites belong to the reduced subgroup designated as CV3R. These CVs show a higher chondrule abundance as well as more reduced metal and less magnetite than the other two oxidized subgroups. One of these oxidized subgroups is named for the fall of Allende and has been designated as CV3OxA. The meteorites of this subgroup contain minerals like andradite, grossular, kirschsteinite, nepheline and others that aren't found in any other CV subgroup. The other oxidized subgroup is named for the fall of Bali and is designated as CV3OxB. The members of this subgroup represent the most oxidized CVs and show traces of aqueous alteration as well as phyllosilicates that aren't found in the other two subgroups.

CO Group

The meteorites of this group are named for their type specimen Ornans that fell in France in 1868 - by that, not far from our home in the French department Doubs. There are only about 25 members of this group if we don't count all the probable pairings - especially from the Dar al Gani region, Libya, where many COs have been found. It's more than probable that all Dar al Gani COs arrived in one or two distinct falls.

All members of this group of carbonaceous chondrites belong to the petrologic type 3, and they show a certain relation to the CV group when it comes to chemistry and composition. Therefore, many researchers suppose that the CV and the CO group represent a distinct clan of carbonaceous chondrites that formed in the same region of the early solar system. However, the conditions under which the COs formed must have been different from the conditions under which the CVs formed because there are obvious differences.

First, the chondrites of the CO group are mostly of a more black appearance (although a few are dark-grey; e.g. the type specimen Ornans) and exhibit much smaller chondrules. These tiny chondrules are packed densely within the matrix, representing over 70% of the entire meteorite. In CV chondrites, this ratio is reversed; only about 30% of the meteorite is composed of large chondrules. As in the CV group, the members of the CO group contain CAIs, but these inclusions are commonly much smaller and more sparsely distributed throughout the matrix. Typical for the COs are clearly visible, small inclusions of free metal, mostly nickel-iron, that appear like tiny flakes on the polished surfaces of a fresh, unweathered CO3. From this we can conclude that the chondrites of the CO group formed under even more reducing conditions than the CVs of the reduced subgroup which don't show that much metal in its free form.

CK Group

The meteorites of this group are named for Karoonda, a meteorite that fell in Australia in 1930. There are only about 20 different CK members known if we exclude all the pairings that have been found so far in the hot deserts of Africa and on the blue-ice fields of Antarctica. Initially, those meteorites were regarded as members of the CV group and were designated as CV4-5. However, more recently, they have been given their own group since they differ in some respect from all the other carbonaceous chondrites.

The chondrites of the CK group belong to the petrologic types 3 - 6, although most of them have been classified as CK4. They are of a dark-grey or black appearance due to a high percentage of magnetite that is dispersed in a matrix of dark silicates, consisting of iron-rich olivine and pyroxene. All of this indicates that they formed under oxidizing conditions, but they don't show any aqueous alteration or phyllosilicates. Elemental abundances as well as the oxygen isotopic signatures suggest that the CK chondrites are closely related to the chondrites of the CO and CV groups and belong to the same clan. They plot somewhere in between those two groups which can be also seen in the size of the chondrules which are intermediate between the typical sizes of CV and CO chondrules. Most CK chondrites sometimes contain large CAIs. In addition, some CK members exhibit shock veins that indicate a violent history for their parent body or an impact history. However, scientists have not yet identified a spectral match for a possible parent body for these rare carbonaceous chondrites yet.

CR Group

The chondrites of the CR group are named for their type specimen Renazzo, which fell in Italy in 1824. There are only about 15 CR chondrites known, with Renazzo initially classified as a "type II" CM2 chondrite. However, the CR chondrites are very different from the CM group, although they also mostly belong to petrologic type 2. Like the CM chondrites, they contain hydrosilicates, traces of water, and magnetite. The main difference is that they contain reduced metal in the form of nickel-iron and iron sulfide of up to 10%. This metal is found in the black matrix as well as in the large and clearly visible chondrules that make up about 50% of the meteorites. Sometimes the orange-coloured chondrules are "armored"; i.e. imbedded into small rims of nickel-iron or iron sulfide. All this is typical for the chondrites of the CR group, and it's quite easy to distinguish them from members of other carbonaceous chondrite groups.

Scientists have searched for the origin of the CR chondrites, comparing different reflectance spectra of asteroids with the spectra of the known CR members. There's quite a good match between the spectra of the CR members and one of the most prominent asteroids in our solar system, 2 Pallas, the second largest asteroid known. In addition, maybe we have other samples of this prospective parent body since modern research suggests that two other groups of carbonaceous chondrites are closely related to the CR chondrites - the CH chondrites and CB chondrites or bencubbinites. Together they form the so-called CR clan that either has its origin in one and the same parent body or at least in a common region of the early solar system in which they formed under similar, more reducing conditions.

CH Group

This group of carbonaceous chondrites is somewhat of an exception since its name is not derived from a type specimen but from one of the typical properties of those meteorites. The "H" stands for "high metal" since the CH chondrites contain up to 15% nickel-iron. There are only about 10 meteorites known which belong to the CH group if one excludes probable pairings. The first of those meteorites has been found in the Antarctic Allan Hills and has been named ALH 85085, so it can be regarded as the type specimen of the CH group. So maybe it would be better to call them "CA group" holding on to the system of nomenclature that has been used for the other groups of carbonaceous chondrites. However, the "CH" is already established, and it might cause too much confusion to change this term just for keeping with the rules of a stringent nomenclature.

All chondrites of the CH group belong to petrologic types 2 or 3, and chemically they are very close to the CR chondrites and the bencubbinites (CB chondrites). Besides their high abundance of nickel-iron, they show many fragmented chondrules, only a few remaining intact. Most of these chondrules as well as the less abundant CAIs are very small which is typical for the chondrites of the CH group. As with the CR chondrites, the members of the CH group contain certain amounts of phyllosilicates and other traces of aqueous alteration that took place during their history of formation.

Some researchers have suggested that the CH chondrites formed in close proximity to the Sun. This is reflected in the abundance of certain trace elements as well as in mineralogy. It is believed that they condensed in a very early stage from the hot primordial nebula inside what is today the orbit of Mercury and have been later transported to outer and cooler regions of the nebula where they have been more or less preserved to this day. An interesting coincidence is that the planet Mercury might have formed from similar, metal-rich material. This would explain its high density and its extraordinary large metal core that makes Mercury unique among all other terrestrial planets in our solar system.

CB Group

The meteorites of this newly designated group are named for their type specimen Bencubbin, which has been found in Australia in 1930. Only five meteorites constitute this group, plus one new member that has recently been found by our team, currently under analysis.

The bencubbinites are strange meteorites that contain more than 50% nickel-iron. If you consider this, they could be easily regarded as true stony-irons, but their mineralogical and chemical properties clearly put them into the clan of the carbonaceous chondrites, or more strictly speaking into the CR clan. Besides the free metal, they contain highly reduced silicates as well as armed chondrules similar to those found in the members of the CR group. Some members of the CB group also contain CAIs; e.g. the meteorite HaH 237 from Libya, which was previously classified as a metal-rich CH chondrite.

This shows the close relationship between the CH and CB chondrites, which are both members of the CR clan. It is probable that all members of this clan formed under different conditions in the same region of the primordial solar nebula, but it's also possible that they are all part of one and the same parent body. That being so, 2 Pallas, the second largest asteroid of our solar system, would be a prominent candidate to be the possible common source of the meteorites of this clan. At least the reflectance spectra of the CR chondrites seem to match the spectra of 2 Pallas quite closely suggesting that those meteorites might have been derived from this large asteroid through impact events. On the other hand the meteorites of the CR clan don't show too many signs of an impact history such as brecciation, shock-veins etc. so that they might have been derived from much smaller parent bodies which aren't to be identified that easily.

C Ungrouped

Some carbonaceous chondrites don't fit into established groups, although they can be easily classified as members of the carbonaceous chondrite clan. They are usually designated as C ungrouped or "C UNGR" and they probably represent other parent bodies of carbonaceous chondrites or source regions of the primordial solar nebula. Some of them show a certain relationship to each other and to other groups of carbonaceous chondrites, but the Meteoritical Society has decided that it needs at least five members to constitute a new group.

However, certain new groups and "grouplets" have been proposed in the past; for example, the Coolidge grouplet named for the meteorite from Coolidge that was found in Kansas, USA, in 1937. There are two other carbonaceous chondrites officially designated as C UNGR that show a similar high matrix/chondrule ratio as Coolidge as well as the same enrichment in refractory elements. May be this grouplet and others will gain the status of a fully accepted group as soon as new members are found and recognized in the wealth of new meteorites from the hot deserts of Africa and Asia, as well as from the blue-ice fields of Antarctica.

Cannibalism, the term itself gives us a very weird feeling. Studies says that the practice of cannibalism was there till Neanderthal Man. However, Holy Bible dosen't speak of this practice in time(s) of first man and woman. In the present day, Cannibalism was said to be of as an uncivilised culture. Holy Bible speaks of it as a sign of the last days. In Matthew.24:12, Jesus, Himself gives this as a sign of the last days saying "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold" (KJV). The word 'Iniquity' may mean sin in one sense, but rather there is a lot more deeper spiritual meaning in it. The means of over stepping the subjective law is sin, and there is also divine law that was not written, but every man possess it in his own heart, which God has placed it; 'an innate (that you have when you were born) knowledge of what is good and evil'. We can observe this knowledge in practice all through the lifetime of Jesus. Paul in his letter to Romans.2:12-15, speaking about the law Paul referring to both 'Written Law' as well as the 'Law of Conscience'; v15 "They demonstrate that God's law is written within them, for their own consciences either accuse them or tell them they are doing what is right" (NLT). In continuation verse he (Paul) makes it clear that the accusation will be going to take place at the time of judgment, v16 "The day will surely come when God, by Jesus Christ, will judge everone's secret life. This is my message" (NLT).
Now, coming to the next point after word 'Iniquity', we will see about '....wax cold' (KJV), '....grow cold' (NIV, NLT, NASB). This word was written in gramatical order as 'future passive tense' in the Holy Bible, meaning which is going to take place in the near future. 

I believe that I made it clear that, for sure these things are going to take place in near future. You may be astonished why such a long introduction and study even before the subject. I am making sure that the things I am going to discuss may not pervert you in other sense.

Now, coming to the main subject; Holy Bible gives us many signs that are going to take place at our Lord’s second coming, of which some are happening and still some to happen. There are certain signs that God through out the history, repeatedly showing such signs that He is angry at what was going on.

One such a sign we can see in Lamentations.2:20, "Behold, O Lord, and consider to whom thou has done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long ? ..." (KJV). The word fruit is the figurative form of child. Prophet Jeremiah, while lamenting for Jerusalem (Temple), and it's people on the disaster that is going to take place, prophesying these words. We can also note these words in Jeremiah.19:9 "And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and flesh of their daughters, ...." (KJV). This kind of event has already taken place in Samaria.

It was a time when Israel and Judah are two separate kingdoms of which Samaria (stronghold) was the capital city of Northern kingdom which was ruled by Joram son of Ahab which was been besieged by the Syrian king Benhadad. History also records this event, in Josephus, The Antiquities of the Jews, Book 9, Chapter 4.4, which reads, ".... Joram, who, not thinking himself a match for him (Benhadad), shut himself up in Samaria, and depended on the strength of its walls; but Benhadad supposed he should take the city, if not by the engines of war, yet that he should overcome the Samaritans by famine, and the want of necessaries, and brought his army upon them, and besieged the city; ... Now Joram was in fear least somebody should betray the city to the enemy, by reason of famine, and want every day round the walls and the guards, to see whether any such are concealed among them: ..... and if they had a mind to do it, he by this means prevented them; but upon a certain woman's crying out, "Have pity on me, my Lord," while he thought that she was about to ask for somewhat to eat, he imprecated God’s curse upon her, and said he had neither thrashing flour, nor winepress, whence he might give her anything at her petition. Upon which she said, she did not desire his aid in any such thing, nor trouble him about food, but desired that he would do her justice as to another woman; and when he bade her say on, and let him know what she desired, she said, she had made an agreement with the other woman,  who was her neighbour and her friend, that because the famine and the want was intolerable, they should kill their children, each of them having a son of their own, "and we will live upon them ourselves for two days, - the one day upon one son, and the other day upon the other; and," said she, "I have killed my son the first day, and we lived upon my son yesterday; but this other woman will not do the same thing, but hath broken her agreement, and hath hid her son". This story mightily grieved Joram when he heard it; so he rent his garment, .....". Holy Bible also has this event in 2Kings.6:26-30. This incident took place because of the sin and the lawlessness of the people which angered God. However, the city didn't fell this time but a little later the northern kingdom fell 2Kings.17:5-6 to the Assyrian king (probably Sargon) and the Israelites were taken prisoners. We can crearly see the stubbornness of Israelites and their sin in 2Kings.17:7-19.

Even the southern kingdom with Jerusalem as its capital also fell a little later to king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon after repeated warnings from the Lord by prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel (Jeremiah.7:2-5, Go to the entrance of the Lord's Temple, and give this message to the people: 'O Judah, listen to this message from the Lord ! Listen to it, all of you who worship here! The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Even now if you quit your evil ways, I will let you stay in your own land. But do not be fooled by those who repeatedly promise your safety because the Temple of the Lord is here. I will be merciful only if you stop your wicked thoughts and deeds and are fair to others;" (NLT)), (Ezekiel.21:18-22, Then this message came to me from the Lord: "Son of man, make a map and trace two routes on it from the sword of Babylon's king to follow. Put a signpost on the road that comes out of Babylon where the road forks into two - one road going to Ammon and its capital, Rabbah, and the other to Judah and fortified Jerusalem. The king of Babylon now stands at the fork, uncertain whether to attack Jerusalem or Rabbah. He will call his magicians to use divination. They will cast lots by shaking arrows from the quiver. They will inspect the livers of their animal sacrifices. Then they will decide to turn toward Jerusalem! With battering rams they will go against the gates, shouting for the kill. They will put seige towers and build ramps against the walls to reach the top. (NLT)); because of their sin and lawlessness, 2Kings.17:19-20, which reads, Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God, but walked in the customs which Israel had introduced. The Lord rejected all the descendents of Israel (complete northern and southern kingdoms) and afflicted them and gave them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them out of His sight. (NASB). History also records this event in Josephus, 'The Antiquities of the Jews, Book 10, Chapters 7 and 8. Prophet Jeremiah's prophecy didn't end there, it continued to the time of Romans.

It is in the time of Jesus, in Matthew 23, Jesus after condemning the Pharisees; speaking about the prophecy concerning Jerusalem in v37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent onto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not !. v38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate" (KJV). And in Chapter 24, Jesus after coming out of the temple, when His disciples showing Him the Temple bulding, Jesus speaks v2, "Do you see all these buildings ? I assure you, they will be so completely demolished that not one stone will be left on top of another" (NLT). Jesus says clearly that it is the sin and the lawlessness of these people that cause this disaster.

In the following years in AD 70, Emperor Vespasian sends his troops under the leadership of his son Titus to capture Jerusalem. Jerusalem was besieged completely. History records this incident where The Holy Bible does not; in Josephus 'The Wars of the Jews, Book 6, Chapter 3.4, reads "There was certain woman ..... Mary; her father was Eleazar ...... as also what food she contrived to save, had been also carried of by rapacious guards, who came every day running into her house for that purpose. ..... and it was now became impossible for her any way to find any more food, while the famine pierced through her very bowels and marrow, when also her passion was fired to a degree beyond the famine itself; .... She then attempted a most unnatural thing; and snatching up her son, who was a child sucking at her breast, she said, "O, thou miserable infant ! For whom shall I preserve in this war, this famine and this sedition ? As to the war with the Romans, if they preserve our lives, we must be slaves ! This famine also will destroy us, even before that slavery comes upon us:- yet are these seditious rouges more terrible than both the other. Come on; be thou my food, and be thou a fury to these seditious varlets and a byword to the world, which is all that is now wanting to complete the calamities of us Jews". As soon as she said this she slew her son; and then roasted him, and ate the one half of him and kept the other half by her concealed. Upon this the seditious came in presently, and smelling the horrid scent of this food, they threatened her, that they would cut her throat immediately if she did not show them what food she had gotten ready. She replied, that she had saved a very fine portion of it for them; and withal uncovered what was left of her son. Hereupon they were seized with a horror and amazement of mind, and stood astonished at the sight; when she said to them, "This is mine own son; and what hath been done was mine own doing ! Come, eat of this food; for I have eaten of it myself. .... After which, those men went out trembling, being never so much affrighted at anything as they were at this. This is the cause of sin and lawlessness.

All this is history.

The present days are more miserable than the past. Things that are happening around the world will make sure that the days of end are near. In the past this happened due to the result of sin and lawlessness to the strongholds, Samaria and Jerusalem, the Temple.

There is no Temple of the Lord these days, then what's going on to fall or is under attack ? 1Corinthians.6:19, "What ? know ye not that your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, ... (KJV)" and also 2Corinthians.6:16, "..... for ye are the Temple of the Living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people" (KJV).

To make us fall satan has his own plans and strategies.

# What is partial-birth abortion?

More than likely, you have heard the term partial-birth abortion before. According to Katie Geary of The Federalist, partial-birth abortion means the unborn baby is intentionally turned to the breech position (feet first) so that the body is delivered before the head. An abortion-performing doctor can harvest organs of the fetus while the head is in the birth canal. The doctor then punctures the head which kills the baby.

It is illegal by federal law, which would lead one to assume that it is not practiced.

However, a leaked Planned Parenthood video featuring Dr. Deborah Nucatola leads us to believe that abortionists have found a way around the law.

Some abortionists use digoxin, a cardiotoxic drug to “induce a demise before the procedure,” Nucatola said. That way, they cannot be accused of performing a partial-birth abortion as the baby died before the procedure began.
However, the use of digoxin makes fetal stem cells unusable for research.

# Do women who consent to fetal-tissue donation actually understand what the procedure entails?

Geary says in order to harvest usable tissue, babies have to be born alive. Fetal tissue donation means subjecting a live fetus to maneuvering, crushing, and dismemberment.

# At the same time, a 2001 study indicated that 91 percent of women preferred that their babies were dead before an abortion was performed. The statistic caused Geary to ask, “How ‘informed’ is their informed consent” to fetal tissue donation? 

The idea of donating tissue to research makes the process sound honorable. It brings to mind the option to be an organ donor on your driver’s license or donating your body to science when you die.

The reality is far from this idea. Unborn babies are being subjected to inhumane treatment, whether on not Planned Parenthood is acting within its legal rights. As Geary said, “None us of neither pro-life nor pro-choice, should support the types of practices Planned Parenthood abortion doctors casually discuss over lunch.”

# A recent controversy states that Planned Parenthood may have been delivering live babies to StemExpress—a company that collects human blood, tissue and other parts of the body for research and medicinal development.

CNN reporter David Daleiden went undercover as the CEO for BioMax, an organization specializing in biometrics. He told StemExpress that he wanted to do business with them, and from there he was able to capture the video. There are those who suspect that Planned Parenthood had acquired the infants when they were alive but allowed them to die as they were being sent to StemExpress.

“StemExpress is trying to suppress a specific video recording of a meeting with their top leadership where their leadership admitted that they sometimes get fully intact fetuses shipped to their laboratory from the abortion clinics that they work with, and that could be prima facie evidence of born-alive infants. That’s why they’re trying to suppress that videotape, and they’re very scared of it.” states David Daleiden.

# In 2012, Holly O’Donnell began her new job at StemExpressLLC, based in Placerville, California. She expected the firm to use her skill in drawing blood from patients as a licensed phlebotomist.
Instead, on her first day, O'Donnell was assigned to a Planned Parenthood clinic in Concord, California. There she was trained to sort through fetal tissue from an elective abortion. She recalled passing out after being told to pick up a fetal leg with tweezers. “I thought I was going to be just drawing blood, not procuring tissue from aborted fetuses,” O’Donnell said during an interview in the latest undercover video from the Center for Medical Progress (CMP). “I was looking to help the public and make blood draws easy,” the 24-year-old said. She quit her job after six months.

Human fetal tissue is in high demand from American biomedical research labs—whether for-profit, academic, or government. It’s a big business where scientists seek miracle cures to paralysis, Alzheimer’s, and other life-threatening diseases, in order to develop products for the commercial market.

StemExpress describes itself as “a multi-million dollar company that supplies human blood, tissue products, primary cells and other clinical specimens to biomedical researchers,” according to the company website. “Founded in 2010, we offer the largest variety of raw material in the industry, as well as fresh, fixed and cryopreserved human primary cells.”
Among the company’s products: a vial of 5 million frozen fetal liver stem cells for $24,250.

O’Donnell said that she witnessed Planned Parenthood staff procuring tissue donations that fit StemExpress’s needs. “For whatever we could procure, they would get a certain percentage,” she said in her interview on the video. “The main nurse was always trying to make sure we got our specimens. No one else really cared, but the main nurse did because she knew that Planned Parenthood was getting compensated.”

An undercover portion of the 11-minute video released, shows a top Planned Parenthood leader talking with an actor from CMP, posing as a representative of a tissue procurement company. The two discuss reimbursement on a per-specimen versus a per-fetus basis. In the background, a technician uses tweezers to sort through post-abortion fetal tissue to fill orders for researchers.

“I think the per-item [pricing] works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it,” the PPFA leader said on the video.

StemExpress offered a bonus plan of up to $75 per specimen if its techicians were able to obtain the fetal organs most valued by researchers.

"To hear these senior Planned Parenthood doctors and executives coldly pricing baby body parts—liver, heart, lungs, kidneys, brains, and limbs—with such casual disregard for the unborn children killed to obtain those parts is reprehensible," said Carol Tobias, National Right to Life president.

“Disastrous results for patients are seen not only with fetal tissue but also with fetal stem cells,” the institute said. “In a recent example, a young boy developed tumors on his spine, resulting from fetal stem cells injected into his body.”

Saudis Can Eat Wife if Very Hungry
   
Saudi grand mufti 'issues fatwa permitting man to chop up and eat wife in event of extreme hunger' A leading Saudi Arabian cleric has reportedly issued a controversial fatwa allowing a husband to chop up his wife and eat her body in the event of extreme hunger, IB TIMES reports.
The fatwa, an Islamic edict, was widely attributed to the mufti of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah.
The grand mufti, who is the highest religious figure in Saudi Arabia, allegedly went on to substantiate the fatwa by saying this will allow the couple to "become one as their bodies will fuse together after the husband eats his wife".
According to multiple local reports, the fatwa "allows a man to eat his wife or parts of her body, if the husband was afflicted with a severe hunger".
The report added: "The fatwa is interpreted as evidence of the sacrifice of women and obedience to her husband and her desire for the two to become one."
The alleged fatwa has stoked controversy as many derided it over various social media platforms.
This fatwa causing a stir among the Kingdom's residents, London-based daily al-Quds al-Arabi reported.
Saudi Twitter users quickly took to the social network to express their shock at the strange fatwa attributed to the Grand Mufti.
The Grand Mufti had previously issued controversial fatwas, such as a decree permitting the marriage of minors under the age of 15.
Saudi Arabia follows the ultra conservative Wahhabi school of Sunni Islam. 
Not long ago, the Saudi grand mufti waded into a controversy by saying all the churches across the Middle East need to be destroyed. Previously, he also declared Twitter was the "source of all evil".

The world's first known snake has just been discovered in Brazil, according to new research that solves many mysteries about the slithering reptiles.
The snake (Tetrapodophis amplectus), described in the latest issue of the journal Science, is also the first known snake to have four limbs. This strongly suggests that snakes evolved from terrestrial lizards, and not from water-dwelling species, as had been thought before.
"The marine hypothesis is dead," senior author Nicholas Longrich of the University of Bath told Discovery News. "It's actually been pretty dead for a while now, but this is really pounding the nails in the coffin. Aquatic snakes evolved from terrestrial snakes -- many, many times."
As this image shows, Tetrapodophis aka "Four Feet" was a meat-eating predator. It lived in what is now the Crato Formation of Ceará, Brazil, between 146 and 100 million years ago.

If Four Feet could be brought back to life today, "You would be confused, because you would be thinking that this looks like a snake...but it's odd; it shouldn't have feet," lead author David Martill of the University of Portsmouth told Discovery News.
He, Longrich, and co-author Helmut Tischlinger believe that the unusual reptile and its kin evolved ever-smaller limbs after their predecessors went through a subterranean phase. During this period of the Early Cretaceous, the animals burrowed underground.
"Limbs get in the way if you are burrowing through soft sand," Martill explained. "Much better to 'swim' through leaf litter or sand. As legs got smaller, 'swimming' became more efficient."
The scientists further suspect that these undulating movements were pre-adaptations to actual swimming in water.

Four Feet's front limbs were so small that Martill described them as being "pathetic" and "little."
While miniscule, the feet seemed to be specialized, as they were broader than those of lizards. As a result, the researchers think the feet helped the snake to seize prey and clasp onto a partner when mating.

Four Feet's head was slightly pointed and slender, suggests its skull. As for its overall appearance, "It looked, well, snaky," Longrich said.
"It had the long, slender, serpentine body; it would have had a forked tongue," he continued. "It had the broad belly scales of a snake. This is unique to snakes, and amazingly the fossil actually preserves them."
The individual died while young and was only about 8 inches long. The scientists are not sure how big members of the species would have become as adults, but they suspect that adults grew to be over 3 feet long.

The remains of an unknown animal -- possible a lizard -- are remarkably preserved in the gut of the fossilized snake. Based on Four Feet's build, it probably bit its victims and then squeezed them, cutting off their circulation. Organ failure probably followed and then death.
The gut contents also indicate that the snake had a feeding strategy similar to today's boa constrictors "in which proportionately large prey are ingested whole," the authors wrote.

The serpentine fossil for Four Feet is extremely well preserved in limestone. It is in such good condition that "soft tissues are also preserved," according to the authors.
The snake would have lived in an ecosystem with dinosaurs, they indicated. While this juvenile snake might have eaten small dinosaur eggs, it is possible that adults of the species "could take a hatchling dinosaur," Martill said.
Longrich added that 40-50 million years after this snake's lifetime, there were large boa and python-sized snakes that definitely were regular consumers of dinosaur eggs. Remains of snakes are even found in dinosaur nests as a result.
Poisonous snakes were not around then, though. They did not become widespread until about 34 million years ago, which was long after non-bird dinosaurs went extinct. The burrowing habits of early snakes might have helped to save them from going the way of the dinos during the major extinction event 65 million years ago.

In addition to lizards like Olindalacerta, Four Feet probably ate salamanders and other small animals, the researchers believe.
Both the ancient snake and its prey were "originally from Gondwana, the ancient continent formed by Africa and South America," Longrich said.
As he says, "They're sort of a holdover from this lost world."

Bible, Translations and Efforts (Issue Based)

Stay Alert ! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. he prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 1Peter.5:8 (NLT)

In the recent past there is a serious discussion going on the online or with a Church or within the Christian Community, that which is the right version of the Bible or which translation of Bible should we follow. In today's world most of the Churches are using the version that is been suggested by their Pastor. It is good to follow the version of Bible that is suggested by their Pastor, because one can only understand or follow the sermon or the study (meditation) that their Pastor is preaching. But it is also quiet evident that in your personal study you better go through a number of good versions of the Bible to understand the Scripture in right meaning in a right sense. This is what people in Berea did when Paul, Silas and Timothy preached the Gospel of Christ in a Jewish meeting place (Synagogue). The people of Berea not just listened to what Paul and Silas had preached, but they examined the Holy Scriptures daily to see whether these things were true (Acts.17:10-12).          

The KJV, the NIV and on are all the translations of the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts. The manuscripts from which our Bible was been translated was not from just one set of manuscript but there are many manuscripts that were found around the world (see picture below). These manuscripts are the copy of the copy of the copy of the copy of the .......... copies. It is also important that in that time there was a real urgency for the Scriptures in the early Church. It was the jews that when they are making a copy of their Holy Scriptures, they see that there won't be even a single letter correction in their copy because that makes the whole scroll be wasted (not used in Synagogues). But this is a different issue with the early Church. Even though jews were already spread throughout Asia Minor and to the east who already had their Holy Scriptures with their community; the early Christians has to complete their copy from the original letter or the Gospel was dependent upon the time, because to send either the letter or the Gospel from one corner to the other will take a month journey by ship. This made the transcribers to be quick in their stipulated job. As to complete their job the transcribers used to copy the original scroll to another scroll, or by just copying to another scroll by following the reader who is going through the original scroll orally. While transcribing, there would have been a little mistake like in Revelation 8:13, which says Angel (KJV) and Eagle (NIV). The original scriptures say that the greek word "aggelos" (KJV) meaning 'Angel', "aetos" (NIV) meaning 'Eagle'. While transcribing the word aggelos might be spelled without stressing the letter 'gg' which would have been listened to the transcriber as 'aetos', just make a practice as said above and see for yourself. As said above in the early 1st century there was a real urgency for the Scriptures, so might this could have happened. However the verse at Revelation 8:13, describe of a 'messanger', who was there 'to proclaim just a message only', but there is no real importance for the messanger, the important thing over here in this verse is 'the message to the inhabitants of the earth', but 'not the messanger'. I believe that this would end the discussion; but for more clarification on the subject 'Translation and Efforts', I just want to make it clear that the translation of the Bible is not just from one set of manuscripts. For example Mark 1:41, in KJV the word 'compassion' and you can see the word 'indignant' in NIV are two different words with two seperate meanings. But in NLT (New Living Translation) the word 'compassion' with a foot note for the verse 'anger'; the synonym of the word 'indignant' are given (as some manuscripts also has). Are the NLT translators are just going through one set of Greek Scriptures or two sets of Greek Scriptures ? However the later translations of NIV also printed the word 'compassion' in place of 'indignant'. The actual word that was there in the Greek Scripture was "speiro", which means 'to sow'. This word is in passive voice, I mean in verse 40 the leper asking Christ with full knowledge and faith that he can be healed. Where did this faith come from to the leper ? This faith seed was already sown in him by (occasionally or intentionally) listening to the teachings of Jesus Christ where the result was healing out of compassion. One has to note that there are certain number of words or phrases that are been added while translating the Greek Scriptures into english language to derive to the right meaning of the sentence. The reader (english) cannot understand the message of the Scripture if the original Hebrew or Greek Scriptures have been transliterated (meaning=to write words or letters using letters of a different alphabet or language) from Hebrew or Greek to English or into any other language it might be (without having a proper gramatical order). Now, I want to ask where are the two words 'compassion' and 'indignant' in this verse (41) are ?

Below are given some verses that are said by some were completely ignored or omitted from NIV Bible. Matthew.17:21, 18:11, 23:14. Mark.7:16, 9:44, 9:46. Luke.17:36, 23:17. John.5:4, Acts.8:37. These are the verses which are said to be intentionally ignored or omitted from NIV. I don't think that these verses were completly ignored or omitted. We have already read above that the different versions of the Bible are not just from one and only one set of manuscripts but which were gathered from different areas (see picture below). However when it's comes to the question of omitting or ignoring or rejecting some of the verses it is just the ignorance and innocence of the reader. The translators of the NIV or any of the versions don't just go with one set of manuscripts but they also take into consideration the other souces (manuscripts) which were discovered around of that time archaeologically or with any other source that corelates with the source that they are currently working on. If the translators of NIV ignored or omitted or rejected the above given verses intentionally then the verses in the NIV Bible just don't jump leaving the next adjacent verse to another verse (number). See carefully, the above verses are given at the footnote and also note that these verses retain their verse number (continued usually). If the translators wanted the version of their own then the verses (Verse Numbers) should be continuous, but it's not the case. One can see the jump in the verse number leaving the omitted or ignored or rejected verse to another. By this we can say that the translators of the Holy Bible are very much careful in translating, taking into consideration by corroborating the source with the other reliable sources of that perticular time or period.

Now, we will see those kind of verses which are been allegedly reported that the words or phrases of these verses has been changed. Below are given the verses Matthew 6:13, 9:13, 19:17, 25:13, 26:29, 27:48. Mark 2:17, 9:29, 9:42, 10:24. Luke 4:4, 11:2, 21:19. John 3:36, 6:47. Romans 11:6. Galatians 5:12, 5:22. Philippians 2:6. Colossians 1:14. 1Timothy 3:16. Hebrews 10:34. 1Peter 1:22. 1John 4:3, 5:7-8. Revelation 2:15, 16:17, 21:24, 22:14. The ignorance and innocence of the reader is again clearly evident. The change that is observed in the above verses are actually the change in the form of the statement (gramatical) or the words of the verse is jumbled providing the same meaning of the verse or some words in Greek gives different synomyms which dosen't change the meaning of the verse or to some verses extra phrases are added as well as subtracted (to) of the original scripture to derive the reader to a more clearer understanding of the verse. All this is done by the translators in the light of corroborating the manuscripts on which they are working using the then already existing original manuscripts or versions (see picture below). For a more clear reference I am writing down all the verses in KJV, NIV, NLT, NASB, and RV (Recovery Version) with it's footnote (fn); if needed explanation was written in [ ].

Matthew 6:13.                                                     KJV - And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. NIV - And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one1. (fn) 1.Or from evil; some late mss one / for yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.                                                                   NLT - And don't let us yield to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one1. (fn) 1.Or from evil. Matthew 9:13                                                           KJV – But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.                                                               NIV – But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have bot come to call the righteous, but sinners.                                      NLT – Then He added “ Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘ I want you to be merciful; I don’t want your sacrifices.’  For I have come to call the sinners, not those who think they are already good enough. “                                NASB – But go and learn what1 this means: I desire compassion2, and3 not sacrifice, for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners. NIV – Why do you ask me about what is good ? Jesus replied “ There is only one who is goo. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” [Check with the greek word of KJV]

NLT – “Why ask me about what is good ?”Jesus replied. “Only God is good. But to answer your question , you can receive eternal life if you keep the commandments.”

NASB – And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good ? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

[In the series of the fruit of the Spirit in Gal.5:22-23 (NIV), from all only 1.Patience, 2.Kindness, 3.Gentleness and 4.Self-control seem different. We will see each of it one by one. 

1.Patience(NIV) – Longsuffering (KJV)  - Greek word is ‘makrothumia’, which is showing patience in respect of persons while bearing up under things or circumstances. ‘makrothumia’ is associated with mercy and is used of God. 2.Kindness (NIV) – Gentleness (KJV) – Greek word is ‘chrestotes’, means benignity, kindness, usefulness, which has the harmlessness of a dove. It can be translated as good, kindness, gentleness. The word is descriptive of one’s disposition and does not necessarily entail acts of goodness. 

3.Gentleness (NIV) – Meekness (KJV) – Greek word is ‘praotes’, mean mildness {Mild in Oxford Dictionary mean (of people of their behavior) gentle and kind}. Primarily it does not denote outward expression of feeling but an inward grace of the soul, calmness toward God in particular. It is the acceptance of the God’s dealings with us considering them as good in that they enhance the closeness of our relationship with Him.

Philippians 2:6

KJV – Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.

NIV – Who, being in the very nature1 God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped. (fn) – 1.Or in the form of.

NLT – Though He was God, he did not demand and cling to his rights as God.

NASB – Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped1. (fn) – 1.I.e. utilized or asserted.

This refers to Christ's deity. 3.Although the Lord was equal with God, He did not consider being equal with God a treasure to be grasped and retained; rather, He laid aside the form of God (not the nature of God) and emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave.

[This verse is more of a theological issue than of a translation issue. We don't find a stright meaning for the word rather the word is explaining something embedded within it; like the complete essence of the Word of God within it. This verse in NIV is much more clearer than the verse in KJV; the translators have put their best efforts in deriving to a meaningful sentence without degrading the deity of Christ; {although the word ‘robbery’ in KJV is used as Anarthrous construction, where these words are most often intended to point out the quality of something, which in this verse the word ‘robbery’ of KJV, ‘Christ truly being in the form of God could not render His claim of equality with God as robbery. Christ continued to be in the form of God which is what He was before He became man and had always been, for in essence He has always been God. His divine existence in relation to the world is indicated by the phrase, “He did not think being equal with God a robbery” as He was God among men and thus on earth He was God-Man. In outer appearance He was man, in essence He was God. When He became man, He truly took the form of a servant. He esteemed not His equality with God as something requiring an act of force against the world or a thing to be forced upon the world. Source : Greek Dictionary}]

 

Colossians 1:14

KJV – in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

I have tried my best to give you a view and understanding about the Holy Scriptures, their translations and their efforts under the guidance of Holy Spirit. I believe that this article will help those who have listened or been questioned by ambiguous statements that quaver their faith in One True God.

The translations KJV as well as NIV or NLT as so on are all painstakingly made for the reader to enjoy the Word of God and to have a complete faith in the Word of God. There are no best versions or atleast the best version; the translators are striving hard to get to the nearest meaning as much as possible at evey updated print keeping the present vocabulary of the language in mind. 

NOTE : One has to be aware of these below Versions of so called Bibles as they pervert one's faith. The versions that are to be careful of are as follows

1. Jehovah Witness's Bible. 

2. Mormon's Bible Joseph Smith Revision. 

3. Christadelphian Version with Elpis Israel (Hope of Israel) and Christendom Astray from the Bible. 

4. Christian Science's Bible with Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by May Baker Eddy. 

5. Swedenborg's Bible. 

6. Children of God's Holy Bible. 

7. Unification Church Holy Bible (Moonies). 

8. Unity School of Christianity's Holy Bible. 

9. The Way International's Holy Bible. 

10. Seventh Day Adventists Teachings. 

11. Scientology Teachings

12. A new Arabic and Turkish translations. Here are three examples native speakers give:

(a).Wycliffe and SIL (Summer Institute of Linguistics) have produced Stories of the Prophets, an Arabic Bible that uses an Arabic equivalent of "Lord" instead of "Father" and "Messiah" instead of "Son."

(b).Frontiers and SIL have produced Meaning of the Gospel of Christ , an Arabic translation which removes "Father" in reference to God and replaces it with "Allah," and removes or redefines "Son." For example, the verse which Christians use to justify going all over the world to make disciples, thus fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) reads, "Cleanse them by water in the name of Allah, his Messiah and his Holy Spirit" instead of "baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." 

(c).Frontiers and SIL have produced a new Turkish translation of the Gospel of Matthew that uses Turkish equivalents of "guardian" for "Father" and "representative" or "proxy" for "Son".
